Alex started playing guitar at the age of 15, working on usual shred chops and arpegios for a few years, until he gets into some serious jazz listening and theory learning, discovering great guys like Coltrane & Miles. Trying to blend speed licks & tasty grooves, his plan is to come up with a breed of progressive jazz/fusion & solos improvisation, without the shred clichés.

For those interested, he bases his playing on several modes & ideas, redundant in his tunes, like mixolydien, dorien, blues scales, passing tones & melodic minor. He has developed several approaches on the neck, using minimum linear scales and maximum arpegiated ideas, using hybrid techniques with legato & sweep.
